The CITO Group consists of the company CITO-SYSTEM GmbH and the daughter companies CITO UK Ltd., CITO Italia s.r.l., Wald Diecutting Systems GmbH as well as CITO CZ and CITO SK. In addition CITO-SYSTEM GmbH holds shares in different other companies which partly not belong to the graphic industry. The owners of this company group are Konrad Methfessel, Christopher Methfessel and Jürgen Marien. In order to guarantee the long-term survival of the company group and to safeguard the work places connected with it, the main interest owner Konrad Methfessel has already established a foundation. When reaching the age of 66 he will contribute his company shares to that foundation; there is of course also an appropriate testamentary provision.
The Konrad Methfessel foundation has made it its business to make available or to procure funds for supporting of the mental, social and cultural development of children, young persons and families in Middle Franconia. The foundation is already active, and two former companies of the CITO Group were already contributed to the property of the foundation.
The CITO Group shall be developed further in the future. The aim there is to concentrate the field of activity of this company group to the area of the graphic industry.
