Heidelberg Open House Shanghai

From September 15 to 18, 2009 Heidelberg China opened its gates for an Open House event in QuinPu, Shanghai. CITO was represented there together with its local partner, Messrs. Fortune Industrial Supplies Co., Ltd.

The event was very well attended and optimally organized. Many customers from various regions like e. g. South China, Shanghai and Beijing as well as international representatives of Heidelberg from Nepal, Indonesia and Vietnam could be met there.

Beside highly productive machines and innovative services also our newly developed RSP Easy Set for creasing, cutting and perforating in the offset printing machine was shown. It was demonstrated daily on a Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 52 and met with great interest. Especially for newcomers to inline finishing and customers with small and medium runs the RSP Easy Set is optimally suitable and very recommendable. At the same time it is cost-efficient and easy in handling.

By the Open House it became clearly discernible that China will remain our most important growth market also in 2010. It is just there where the focus lies on custom-made high-quality solutions which are nevertheless attractive in price and with which performance can be increased and values can be created enduringly. So as products “made in Germany” are furthermore very much questioned on the Chinese market we will orient our product development still more to the needs of our Chinese partners and customers also in the future.

Here special thanks are expressed to Bill Kong, Product Manager with Heidelberg China, as well as to the managing directors of the company Fortune Industrial Supplies Co., Ltd., Joe Chan and Alex Chan, who have helped us over the years to be so successful on the Chinese market.
