CITO on tour, today: South Africa

In November 2009 our application engineer Roman Kaschitz was on a visit tour in Cape Town, South Africa. Together with our South African representation, Printech Engineering, many packaging factories were visited.

It was our aim to give assistance around the complete packaging production and to support our customers with various problem solutions. Of course the importance of the correct selection of the creasing parameters and their impact on the subsequent quality of the creasing could be pointed out there. Above all it became clear which decisive influence the quality of the creasing has on the subsequent processing of the packaging on the folder gluer.

After the end of the customer visits all companies were invited to a diecutting seminar which invitation was accepted with pleasure.

During the whole diecutting seminar and still beyond the actual seminar many inspiring discussions around problems and challenges in the packaging industry were held so that the seminar can be called a great success.

Due to the active participation we will also in 2010 plan a customer visit tour and further seminars in South Africa.
