CITO PLAST hinge crease Special product for corrugated board requiring creases that can be folded on both sides up to 90 degrees. Hinge Crease is suitable for 90° bendings in both directions; for bendings of 180° + 90°, however, we cannot make any guarantee.
Processing is possible for E and B flutes with a lamination of max. 230 gsm (maximum residual thickness of the compressed material = 0.7 mm); no guarantee with stronger laminations.


Creasing rule width with E flute = 3 pt., creasing rule width with B flute = 4 pt. Creasing rule height is calculated according to the hinge crease formula.


Precondition for a functioning of this technique is use of suitable printing inks and lacquers as well as a residual humidity of the material right for processing. As these factors of influence play an important role in processing CITO cannot take over a general guarantee for functioning; this would require appropriate tests with original material.

We recommend using the creasing rules (3 pt) reversed in the cutting die.
