CITO on its travels, today: Chile

In August, our application technician Roman Kaschitz was in Santiago, Chile, for the third time on a week-long tour visiting customers.

Together with our Chilean representative Davis Graphics S.A., individually-tailored in-house training sessions were conducted for several customers. The major emphasis was placed on special questions covering all aspects of packaging production, and solutions to problems were developed in order to facilitate the day-to-day production work. In particular, the decisive effect of the quality of the creasing on the further processing of the packaging on the folding box gluing machine was made clear.

On completion of all the customer visits and in-house training, an additional seminar was held at Davis Graphics S.A. for approximately 20 major customers. In addition to numerous other aids, the very interested and talkative participants were told about the importance of the correct selection of the crease parameters and their later effect on the quality of the creasing. Our new product line FormLine was also presented at the seminar.  

One special premiere was the launch of RSP Easy on the Chilean market. All of the customers agreed on the benefits offered by RSP Inline Finishing, and how they could profit from it, and use it to stand out from the competition. Besides the creation of additional value, the easy handling and fast installation and removal also brought an enthusiastic response.
