CITO on Tour, today: China
Through a global close network of dealers the CITO-SYSTEM GmbH is today represented in almost all countries in the world. So it goes without saying that our application engineers are always in contact with our partners also on other continents. Through joint seminars, trainings and customer visits, we learn something about the changing needs and can simultaneously impart our knowledge.
So our application engineer Michael Zelingr was in China for 5 days in March 2009 on a visit tour. Together with our local partner Fortune Industrial Supplies Co. many customers were visited.
Tasks and challenges around the complete packaging production were discussed. Among other things also the importance of the correct selection of the creasing parameters and their impact on the subsequent quality of the creasing were pointed out. Above all it became clear here which decisive influence the quality of the creasing has on the subsequent processing of the packaging on the folder gluer.
Of course, we are also broadening our knowledge on our travels again and again. It becomes clear that our Asian partners have today materially higher demands on the quality of their products and are therefore ready to invest in the qualification of their employees.
For us, China remains our most important growth market also in 2009. We will therefore always orient our product development also to the needs of our Chinese partners and customers.
We also accommodate to the importance of the market by participating in the China Print Exhibition 2009 from May 12 to 16. Here CITO will be represented with an own booth together with its partner Fortune Industrial Supplies.
We would like to thank the whole team of Fortune Industrial Supplies, and especially their Managers, Joe Chan and Alex Chan who have helped us over the years to capture the Chinese market. Also this tour was attended by both CITO partners who again made highly imaginative contributions.
