Seminar on corrugated board hailed a success – Toronto, Canada
At the invitation of our long-standing partner Central Die Supplies, our Sales Director Stefan Schoeffel, together with our corrugated board expert Roman Kaschitz as contributor, attended the seminar held in Toronto on the subject of further processing of corrugated board.
More than 90 people from various companies in the Greater Toronto area took up the invitation from Central Die Supplies. Alongside the companies who handle the further processing of corrugated board, we were very pleased to see that die cutting manufacturers were also represented.
In the course of the three-hour CITO presentation, several topics relating to the BoxLine and FormLine product areas were discussed - for example, important considerations on the behaviour of corrugated board in challenging climatic conditions. On this subject, the visitors from Canada were mainly interested in the effect of very low temperatures on processing.
Queries on grinding nicks in cutting dies, creasing parameters, gumming and laminating were also discussed in great detail. Of particular interest here was our advice on using special corrugated cardboard solutions from the CITO PRO range. Our special solutions CITO PRO IK and CITO PRO SG both prevent marking and tearing of the liner.
The event was a success for us and we would like to follow up on this next year! So our thanks go to the entire staff at Central Die Supplies for making a great job of organising the event and also to all attendees who contributed to the success of the event with their many questions and ideas.
