Diecutting inMould labels (IML) with the RSP System 2.0

Rotary diecutting with the RSP System 2.0 in the sheet-fed offset press is ideally suitable for the production of inMould labels (IML) and offers decisive advantages over flatbed diecutters and punch diecutters.

Fast and easy changing of the flexible die on the baseplate of the RSP System 2.0 means large time savings. The makeready work is significantly faster than with a flatbed diecutter.

All standard printing and coating units of modern offset printing machines can be converted in just a few steps with the RSP System 2.0 and used for diecutting inMould labels. Older machine types are also optimally suited.

Setting small, precise nicks in the flexible dies ensures reliable and uniform sheet transfer in the machine. The 0.15 mm thick nicks also ensure smooth further processing and optimum stripping.

The low investment costs make the system and efficient and economical solution.

The advantages at a glance:

  • Large time savings due to fast and easy changing of the flexible die on the baseplate
  • No complicated and time-consuming makeready
  • Optimally suitable for all current standard printing machines and older types
  • Small, precise nicks for optimum sheet transfer and further processing
  • Low acquisition costs for more efficiency
  • Patented system
