For secure fixing of the cutting die onto the chase with the appropriate screw
Depending on the thickness of the wood used for the cutting die, screws of different lengths are required. This often leads to mix-ups and thus possibly to the installation of screws of the wrong length.
Colour-coded screws
This is where CITO Chase Screws come into play: they are colour-coded according to their length. This makes it easier to select the correct screw length for the respective wood thickness.
New stylish and practical design in a self-magnetic metal box
The CITO Chase Screws are supplied in a practical, self-magnetic metal box. This can be attached to metal surfaces, e.g. a cutting die chase changer, for quick use.
The boxes also have a viewing window so that the screw length can be identified directly from the colour.
Secure and uniform drive thanks to hexalobular socket
CITO Chase Screws with their hexalobular socket offer better force transmission compared to screws with a normal hexagon socket due to a more even distribution of the torque on the flanks of the points. This reduces the risk of cam out (screwdriver slipping out of the socket). The torsional forces do not act locally, but over the surface of the flanks, which results in less wear. The shape of the profile reduces the notch effect and minimises damage to the screw and tool.
