Röthenbach was the venue for the 15th Apprenticeship Fair held on 10th and 11th October 2012.
This year the fair again welcomed a record number of visitors. Young people keen to find out more about the companies taking part and the training places available made use of this opportunity.
CITO’s participation at this fair is a project driven by the existing apprentices. The apprentices carry out the planning, organisation, attendance and follow-up – almost entirely independently.
This meant that young people could obtain information directly from the CITO apprentices about the company itself and the occupations where training is available, which included industrial business management assistant, trained assistant for warehouse logistics, and machine and systems operator; in other words “advice from apprentices to apprentices”.
We were especially pleased this year to receive a brief visit to our stand from District Administrator, Armin Kroder, together with the Mayor of Röthenbach, Günther Steinbauer. Both visitors took the time to learn about our company and our products.
We are already looking forward to next year’s event and are eagerly awaiting the applications for the apprenticeship positions.
