The longstanding commitment of CITO‑SYSTEM GmbH was acknowledged with the silver certificate of the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact signed by Minister of State Thorsten Glauber. The award is given to companies that have participated in the Environmental and Climate Pact three times in each of three consecutive years. It acknowledges continuous, voluntary participation in sustainable business practices.
The Bavarian Federal State Government included the company in the Bavarian Environmental and Climate Pact in 2016 and since then it has been a member of the group of sustainable companies. These are companies that have voluntarily undertaken to continuously reduce their CO2 emissions and to handle our planet’s resources carefully and responsibly. CITO is EMAS certified and has defined its own environmental goals.
