The next generation of inline finishing has successfully left the launch pad; the first RSP System 2.0 base plates for the Heidelberg SM 52 printing unit have been available since February.
On 1st March, our sales manager Stefan Schöffel and PrintLine product manager Roberto Croci had great pleasure in jointly handing over the first base plate 2.0 in person to the company Pinsker Druck und Medien GmbH.

Development of the 2.0 series systems for printing units SM 102, CD 102, CX 102, XL 105 and manroland 700 will be concluded over the next few weeks. We already have over 50 advance orders for these machine types on our books. It is becoming apparent that we gauged the market needs exactly right with this further development.
Pinsker Druck und Medien GmbH have also pre-ordered a base plate for the XL 105 DU. As our test customer for the RSP advancement, Pinsker is not only impressed by our patented hinge system but also by our RSP direct fit flexible die, which stands out because of its features of time-saving and top accuracy due to register adjustment.
In order that existing RSP users can benefit from this new generation, we are running a special promotion for a limited period: all RSP customers can obtain the new base plate for RSP System 2.0 at an attractive upgrade price:
- Small size (e.g. SM 52) €525.00
- Medium size (e.g. SM 74) €581.25
- Large size (e.g. XL 105) €637.50
As well as the new RSP base plate 2.0, this one-off special price also includes the following new additional items:
- 1 x torque screwdriver
- 1 x RSP hinge unlocking tool
- 1 x operating manual (booklet and DVD)
