drupa 2012 Review – Success for CITO all along the line

As a regular exhibitor at drupa, here at CITO we were keen not to miss out on this leading print media trade fair this year. The after-show results are clear: we can look back on a very successful event for 2012 with high visitor numbers and many technical/sales discussions conducted on our stand.

The following new products, presented to a wide audience for the first time, were key to this success.

  • Creasing systems PROplus and DYNAMIC, made from CITOTHAN.
For the first time in the history of creasing, a new material has been specifically developed for converting paper, cartonboard and corrugated board. CITOTHAN is a new type of composite material which eliminates the well-known problem of delamination when using pressboard. Every visitor to the stand was immediately made aware of this trailblazing benefit and as a result we received numerous spur-of-the-moment orders.
  • New HS CITO FormLine range of cutting rules and creasing rules.
CITO and Hung Shuh have recently forged a solid partnership. For many years now, Hung Shuh, a manufacturer of rules, has been one of the leading companies in its sector. CITO has now taken over the exclusive, European-wide marketing and distribution of this new range of HS CITO FormLine® rules. We were pleased to hear very positive reactions from our stand visitors and now look forward to starting off this successful business relationship.
  • New RSP Inline Finishing System 2.0
The size of the visitor crowd, especially during the live presentations, exceeded even our own expectations. Our new generation of base plate 2.0 impressed not only our existing RSP customers, but also many new ones, and we were happy to receive a large number of immediate orders on the stand.

All of us in the CITO Team would like to thank every visitor to our stand for so much positive feedback. You have given us a lot of motivation and we are delighted to be getting back on with shaping our successful future.
