Delight at the cheque handover to the EKK
For the third time, CITO‑SYSTEM GmbH demonstrates its commitment by making a donation to the Elterninitiative krebskranker Kinder e.V. in Nuremberg (EKK). The non-profit organisation EKK supports children with cancer and their families, primarily by providing support during and after intensive therapy, as well as various financial benefits.
At the Christmas party in December 2025, the employees once again donated generously and enthusiastically. They were happy to support the good cause that the management had once again initiated. The amount donated by the employees was topped up by the management, resulting in a total of € 4,000.00, which was presented to the EKK.
Irina Satzinger of the EKK was invited for the handover of the specially designed cheque on 10 February 2026. She emphasised how much she appreciated CITO's commitment and gave thanks for the renewed donation. The active support of companies such as CITO enables the EKK to stand by the children and their families and provide them with financial support.
"Social commitment is a matter of course for us and is firmly integrated into our corporate values. It is particularly important to us to think of those in our society who are less fortunate and to help them in difficult times. Many thanks to the CITO team for their generous donation. We are delighted that our donation enables us to offer some support to children and their families in challenging life situations," said managing directors Thomas Gerner, CFO, and Oliver Kellermann, CSO.
