Employees committed to a good cause at the Christmas party

Cheque handover at CITO

A good start to the new year: On 04 January 2024, the management of CITO‑SYSTEM GmbH handed over a cheque for € 3,000.00 to Elterninitiative krebskranker Kinder e.V. Nürnberg (EKK). The parents’ initiative is a committed charity organisation, which supports children with cancer and their families – especially by providing support during and after intensive therapy and with various financial payments.

The donations were collected during the Christmas party. Thomas Gerner, CFO and Oliver Kellermann, CSO had invited the employees to donate to the good cause. Everyone was pleased to participate and so a tidy sum was reached during the course of the evening. The management rounded the sum up to € 3,000.00.

Thomas Gerner emphasised: “CITO is aware of its social responsibility and is very pleased to help the EKK. The commitment of the parents, who accompany and support the children concerned and their families through the difficult time is remarkable.”

Ms Satzinger of the EKK was invited to accept the handover of the specially designed cheque and accepted the generous donation with thanks.

She emphasised that the EKK depends on the support of voluntary helpers and sponsors. The donations enable those concerned to be helped again.

“The whole CITO team participated in the campaign enthusiastically and so we are pleased and proud to hand over the cheque to the EKK. It is important for us to support those in our society not as well or well off as we are, not only at Christmas. We wish all families who have to deal with such a difficult fate all the best!”, said Oliver Kellermann.
