Customer testimonials
CITOCLYN Uni Plus – simply an outstanding product – universally usable, economical and safe for employees
Company: Mosburger GmbH, Straßwalchen
Created by: Johann Pichler, Engineering Manager
The new CITOCLYN Uni Plus flexographic printing cleaner is ideally suitable for all areas. Regardless of whether printing plates, anilox rollers or printing units – it can be used optimally everywhere.
The cleaner works particularly well in combination with the CITOCLYN Pressure Sprayer. Non-contact cleaning of the printing plates is therefore possible. The consumption rate is also significantly lower than before.
What really convinced us: Our employees genuinely like working with the cleaning agent. In the past, skin irritation frequently occurred when cleaning the printing plates – not with CITOCLYN Uni Plus. Alongside quality and economy, its greater occupational safety is another positive aspect of the product.

CITOCLYN Uni Plus – we are very satisfied with the cleaning result and also save substantial time and costs
Company: Mondi Bad Rappenau GmbH
Created by: Jörg Erhardt, Works manager, and Jörg Gundler, Flexographic printing team leader
We use CITOCLYN Uni Plus to clean anilox rollers and printing plates. We are very satisfied with the cleaning result.
We use a cleaner mix ratio of 1:8 for automatic rinsing of the anilox rollers and were thus able to extend the cleaning interval for intensive cleaning of the anilox roller (laser cleaning) from 3 to 4.5 months. The resulting cost and time savings are substantial.
The cleaner, in combination with the pressure sprayer, also produced convincing results when used for manual cleaning of the printing plates. The printing plate is sprayed sparingly with a cleaner and water mix ratio of 1:10 and is simply rinsed off with water after a short exposure time. The cleaning is non-contact and we need neither a brush nor a sponge. This protects the expensive printing plates. This is a major advantage, especially for printing plates with screens, and we also save 30 – 40 % time in the manual cleaning.

The new flexographic cleaning products made by CITO‑SYSTEM GmbH achieve outstanding cleaning results, reduce consumption and increase occupational safety.
Company: DS Smith Packaging Stiftung & Co. KG Mannheim
Created by: Helmut Lindemann, Team Leader Work Preparation
We have been using the CITOCLYN Uni Eco cleaner and the V2A mobile pressure sprayer (24 litre capacity) to clean our flexographic printing plates in our washing stations for more than 6 weeks.
In a test with a mix ratio of 1:10, the cleaning effect is better; especially the exposure time, and application with the help of the pressure sprayer and its 60 cm long lance helps significantly. Thanks to this application method, we were also able to reduce our cleaner consumption by around 1/3.
An enormous advantage of the new cleaning agent, not subject to mandatory hazard labelling under CLP, is the increased occupational safety and less contamination of the wastewater due to the reduced pH value.
