For several years now, we have been using the RSP System 2.0 for our inline finishing jobs in each of the last units of our Koenig & Bauer Rapida 105 and 106. RSP inline finishing is of particular benefit when using ink-repellent protective impression cylinder jackets. It allows us to perform jobs in perfecting mode while simultaneously perforating or diecutting – in the fresh ink. The quality of the printed image is flawless, even with a high ink coverage. There is no need for any additional cleaning of the protective impression cylinder jackets during production, and production continues at full speed – with no interruptions.
